Silverphone with its docking station

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I store new numbers in my SilverPhone?

Firstly remove the SIM card from the back of the Easy5 and insert this into a normal mobile phone. You will need to ensure that the mobile is not locked to any particular network. Once the SIM is inserted into the phone, switch it on and then edit the SIM phone book.

When either editing or adding a new number you must ensure that the number of the button where you wish the telephone number to be stored on the Easy5 predeeds the name to be stored. For example if you wish to store a telephone number on button 1 you would store the following:

NAME: 1home

NUMBER: xxxxxxxxxx

For a number to be stored on button 2:

NAME: 2work

NUMBER: xxxxxxxxxx

Please note these must be stored back onto the SIM card memory - not the phone's memory.

How do I Top Up?

Simple. By using the SilverPhone, you have three ways you can top up

1) In your pack you will have received an E-TopUP Swipe card.

You can take this card to any of the 80,000 stores showing this sign and just hand over your card to the assistant. Credit will be available in 10 minutes. You can link more than one card to your phone if you require relatives or friends to top it up for you.

2) You can also call Customer Services from a landline on 08700 700 191.

3) Alternatively, you can top up at most high street ATM machines. Simply insert your cash card into the ATM, enter your cash card PIN, select mobile top up and follow the step by step instructions.

How do I know how much credit I have left?

T-Mobile will alert you when your credit goes under the £1 threshold. When you try to make a call you will receive a voice message alerting you to this fact and requesting that you top up shortly. Your call will be connected as normal until your run out of credit.

Alternatively, you can take the SIM out of the SilverPhone, place it in a conventional mobile phone and dial *#1345#
