From here you can easily send e-mails, browse the web, chat to friends and family using our e-mail addresses, store photos and write short documents. If you have a problem you can just go 'back to Square One' and start all over again. Helpful Training... The simplicity pc comes with in built video tutorials that take you, step-by-step, through each of the features in Square One. 
Valerie Singleton talks you through each stage to help you learn how to get started and then move on to all the new features you'll want to use. You can watch the training videos as many times as you like before putting your toe in the water and training yourself. What Do I Get? In the box is everything you need to get going - computer, screen, keyboard, mouse and speakers. All you need to provide is a broadband connection and a power socket and you're away. The simplicity computer is powered by Eldy and runs the Linux Mint operating system. Linux Mint and Eldy are far more immune to viruses, spyware and Trojans and other security threats than other systems. Best of all, Linux Mint is completely free, as are all the applications, as well as all updates and upgrades to future versions. Delivery Every simplicITy is made to order. Delivery is normally two weeks from clearance of funds and will be direct to your home address. When you open the box you will find an easy to follow instruction leaflet to help you set up the computer. Important - Internet ConnectionYou will need a broadband connection. If you don't have one already, make sure you order it as soon as you've placed your order for the simplicITy, so when the computer arrives you will be ready to start using your computer immediately (the wait for broadband installation can be up to 10 days). |
